It’s crazy that this is supposed to be a comedy. This version was SO dark it wasn’t even funny lol. The staging was really perfect though, especially since it was a two sided stage (Triangular).

Poor Bobby. All the married couples in his life are bothering him, and all he wants is to be left to his own.

I honestly think this is a musical about my roommate if he lived in the city and was 35.

If anyone has Netflix and likes musicals I HIGHLY suggest watching this one. Really.

Then go and see the NPH version June 15th (if you’re near a participating theater) and see how a comedy can actually look like a comedy lol. The trailer is so light and cheery.

The set is perfect, the cast is perfect!

I mean really… the set is so gorgeous for this production. It really does feel like a New York apartment that a bachelor would live in lol.

Also the fact that the actors are the orchestra is CRAZY impressive.
